Unexplainable

He always thought he was a pretty good boy. So why the hell was he getting punished?

And so, of all things... Here stood Ryuu.

Getting hit by a guy.

In front of the girl he liked.

"So-did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" said guy winked.

Ryuu fought the urge to bang his head against the wall. Not only did a guy hit on him, he had to use a stupid pick up line as well. Ryuu glanced at his..crush, Hana. Her golden hair cascaded down her back, blue eyes staring at him with worry. Of all days to get hit on. It had to be when he was hanging out with her. He felt pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

"So, wanna hang out girls?" A brow twitched. "You both are too cute!" A fist twitched.

"I'm sur-" And then he swung.

With a swish, said guy found himself on the ground, head dizzy.

"You freakin creep! I'm a guy for goodness sake!" Ryuu growled, face red from embarrassment.

"Ryuu-oniichan!" Hana tugged his sleeve, pulling him away from a gathering crowd.

As soon as they were away from the scene he had caused, Ryuu looked away from her in shame. He hated his 'girly' looks, hated how short he was, he was barely taller then the girl he liked for god's sake! It just wasn't fair.

"Ryuu-oniichan." He didn't respond.

"Ryuu-onnichan." she said, this time a bit louder. He still looked away, not responding.

Small hands tugged his face forward, and his black eyes soon met with her blue orbs.

"Ryuu-onnichan, don't listen to him okay? You're not girly, you're perfect the way you are. You're Ryuu-oniichan and you'll always be my Ryuu-oniichan no matter what."

He blinked.

He had not expected that. Her face was slightly flushed from her small speech, hands quivering upon his face. He smiled. "Yeah." She could always placate him, clam him down. Make him feel like the greatest guy on Earth. It was strange. Unexplainable.

Hana's breath hitched at his warm smile. He rarely did smile like that and when he did, she felt as if she was melting. It was weird. It was unexplainable. No words could describe the fluttery feeling she felt.

He was perfect. In her eyes he really was perfect.

His hands gently grabbed her wrist and he slowly removed it from his face. She felt her wrists burn at the touch and couldn't help but blush. "Sorry about that Ryuu-oniichan." she mumbled, her heart beat not slowing down to her distaste.

"Hn." instead of letting go as she thought he would, he simply wrapped his hand around hers, fingers entwining slightly.

She did the only thing she could do.

She smiled while melting into goo.
